TCT 2021 now offering free virtual attendance
TCT 2021, a three-day conference sponsored by the Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF), will now be free to attend for all virtual attendees. The conference is scheduled to run Nov. 4-6, and there is also an in-person component taking place in Orlando.
Considering the continued effect of the COVID-19 pandemic, CRF representatives explained, it was important to make the virtual part of the conference as easy to access as possible.
“Our goal this year is to make TCT more inclusive and accessible than ever before,” Juan F. Granada, MD, CRF president and CEO, said in a statement. “Over the last year, we’ve been working diligently to make this vision a reality. U.S. borders will still be closed to many geographic regions at the time of the meeting. Providing unrestricted access to TCT for our interventional community is more important than ever.”
“CRF is committed to training the next generation of leaders in the field by delivering high quality education to a broader, more diverse audience,” added Martin B. Leon, MD, CRF founder and chairman emeritus. “Expanding access to and sharing the academic content presented at TCT plays a critical role in achieving this mission.”
