Concentric expands neurovascular catheter line
Concentric Medical, a device developer for clot removal in ischemic stroke patients, has launched an expanded suite of its DAC neurovascular catheters.
The DAC catheters are a family of devices used to provide distal access and support in tortuous anatomy commonly encountered in stroke and other neurovascular procedures conducted by interventional neuroradiologists, according to the Mountain View, Calif.-based company.
The original DAC catheter was launched in August 2008 as a distal access, support and delivery device for use in Merci Retriever procedures. The DAC lineup now includes a full range of diameters and lengths, Concentric said.
