Bancroft becomes permanent CFO at Bristol-Myers
Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) has selected Charles Bancroft to serve as its permanent chief financial officer (CFO).
According to the New York City-based company, Bancroft has operated as the company’s acting CFO since Jan. 1, but the appointment became official April 8.
Bancroft will oversee the company’s fiscal operations and global finance organization and report to Lamberto Andreotti, the company’s president, chief operating officer and acting CEO.
Prior to his selection as CFO, Bancroft carried out international assignments and leadership positions with BMS and also ConvaTec. BMS said that Bancroft began employment with the company in 1984.
