Oral and Poster Abstract Sessions

Innovators Abstracts Session
The  Heart  Rhythm  Society  introduced  an  exciting  new  abstract  category  this  year  to  allow  innovative physicians and scientists to share new and novel approaches, techniques, and technologies.  Rather than looking for the completed results of scientific studies, these abstracts are based on their originality and scientific and clinical promise.

Innovators Poster Sessions will be presented on Thursday, May 5 and Friday, May 6 in the Esplanade Foyer (Moscone South building). Posters will be on display from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Presenters will be available at their poster from 9:30 -10:30 a.m. and 3:15 – 4:15 p.m.

Featured Poster Session and Reception
The Featured Poster Session and Reception is a collection of the highest scoring abstracts of those selected for poster presentations. The session includes complimentary food and beverages and will take place Wednesday, May 4, 5:45 – 7:00 p.m. in Moscone West building.

Heart Rhythm 2011 registrants may attend the Featured Poster Session and Reception at no cost, but a complimentary ticket is required to attend. When registration opens, please select the appropriate ticket, or you may update your registration online to add ticketed functions after your initial registration.

Moderated Poster Sessions
Each moderated poster presentation will be 15 minutes in length, led by the Presenting Author and will include comments from an Expert Moderator. The moderated poster sessions will be presented in the "poster theater" section of poster town. Moderated Posters are selected as part of the abstract review process.

This session will investigate new mapping strategies and new ablation techniques for SVT ablation

Several key trends were evident at the Radiological Society of North America 2024 meeting, including new CT and MR technology and evolving adoption of artificial intelligence.

Ron Blankstein, MD, professor of radiology, Harvard Medical School, explains the use of artificial intelligence to detect heart disease in non-cardiac CT exams.

Eleven medical societies have signed on to a consensus statement aimed at standardizing imaging for suspected cardiovascular infections.
