Edwards Lifesciences to hold annual shareholder meeting

Edwards Lifesciences will host its annual meeting for shareholders on May 12.

People who are unable to attend in-person in Irvine, Calif., can watch a live webcast of the meeting starting at 1:00 p.m. ET on May 12. They can also access an archived version of the meeting on Edwards’ website.

On April 26, Edwards announced its revenue increased 18.1 percent and its earnings per share increased 17.9 percent during the first quarter of 2016 compared with the same period last year.

The FDA approved Edwards’ Sapien 3 transcatheter aortic valve replacement system in June 2015 to treat high-risk patients with severe aortic stenosis.
