California law firm sues Theranos

A law firm in California sued Theranos, Inc. on May 26 for misrepresenting the accuracy and quality of its blood tests, Reuters reports. The Wall Street Journal reported earlier this month that Theranos admitted to federal government officials that the company voided reports in 2014 and 2015 from its Edison blood testing devices.

Law firm Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP brought the case against Theranos. A Theranos spokesperson told Reuters the lawsuit was “without merit.”
