Atherotech elects Mason as VP of clinical operations

In a move to expand its disease management and clinician services sectors, cardio-diagnostic developer Atherotech has appointed Jennifer E. Mason, RN, MS, as its vice president of clinical operations.

According to the Birmingham, Ala.-based company, responsibilities will include boosting the educational and outreach efforts for its line of cardiometabolic tests.

Prior to this position, Mason was employed as a clinician at the Berkeley HeartLab since 2001. With her new role, Mason will report to CEO Mike Mullen and work closely with Chief Medical Officer Michael Cobble, MD.
