Pie Medical updates cardiology quantitative analysis software

Cardiology and radiology quantitative analysis software provider Pie Medical Imaging has released the new version of its CAAS product line, version 5.8, for the quantitative analysis of coronary and peripheral vessels, CAAS QVA 3D.

CAAS QVA 3D seeks to eliminate the foreshortening and out of plane magnification for shape assessment, especially in the area of more complex lumen, said the Maastricht, Netherlands-based company. Pie said its other features include 3D reconstruction of vessels without manual calibration.
