Hospital worker accused of murdering a stroke patient now under investigation for other assaults

A hospital worker in the U.K. with a history of murder and sexual assault accusations is now being questioned about additional attacks.

According to a new report from the Daily Mail, the Blackpool Victoria Hospital employee was arrested back in March for the November 2018 murder of a 75-year-old stroke patient and multiple sexual assaults. The employee—who has been suspended as a result of the allegations—is now being investigated for additional sexual assaults of former patients and a healthcare professional.

In total, the individual is being investigated for more than 13 different crimes related to the same hospital. The person’s name has not been released to the public at this time, but police have stated that it is a man.

Any other employees who worked for the Blackpool Victoria Hospital stroke unit during the time of these alleged assaults have been asked to step forward.
