Cardiologist dies at age 34
Alexis D’Elia, a cardiologist from New York, recently died due to breast cancer, Newsday reports. She was 34 years old.
D’Elia was a staff cardiologist at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. She had HER-2 positive breast cancer for four years and had sought numerous treatments, according to the newspaper.
