Montana health system builds up new cardio center with 15 hires

St. Vincent Healthcare, a hospital in Billings, Montana, has 15 new people as it focuses on creating an independent heart and vascular center, according to a new article by the Billings Gazette.

A year ago, St. Vincent ended its contract with a third-party physician group that provided heart services in its hospital.

The hospitals new heart institute will provide better care to patients by offering services and procedures that were not previously available. The institute will be led by William Knopf, MD, its chief of cardiovascular services.
