NovaRad adds PACS client in Kansas

Edwards County Hospital in Kinsley, Kan., has selected NovaRad's Web-based PACS, NovaPACS, to access images for interpreting physicians and enhance radiology services for its rural community.

Brown's Medical Imaging, a NovaRad distributor serving Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa, facilitated the contract.

NovaPACS offers a seven-year, onsite archive with offsite emergency backup. Full screen viewing and mouse-based functions are available to help enhance efficiency, and referring physicians have access to images and reports from any computer, according to the American Fork, Utah-based company.
