Websites rank best and worst surgeons
Who are the top performing surgeons in the U.S.? A pair of websites featured recently in the Washington Post attempt to answer the question by ranking surgeons receiving high marks and pointing out those with the most complications.
The Center for the Study of Services has a website that allows people to search for top surgeons in 14 specialties, while ProPublica has a website that examines poor performers through death and complication rates associated with eight common elective surgeries.
