Upon her appointment as the new clinical director of business development for cardiac surgical services, Sarah got right to work establishing relationships with cardiologists across the Sunshine State. Her key focus was on improving care access for high-risk cardiac surgical patients.  

Streamlining the referral and transfer processes to provide timely access to advanced care, Sarah acted as a single point of contact for referring providers, ensuring efficient communication and coordination. The results of her outstanding performance included: improved access to care for high-risk surgical patients, enhanced network engagement, increased number of referring cardiologists (in and out of network), and more than 20% cardiac surgical volume growth with remarkable 30-day survival-to-discharge outcomes.
