Rebecca (Becca) Revell, RN, BSN, CCDS

Senior director of patient services at PaceMate, a cardiac remote monitoring company in Minneola, Florida

There is a version of cardiovascular innovation that happens in the catheterization laboratory. And there is a version that happens in the architecture of systems that ensure patients with cardiac implantable devices are monitored, reached, educated and cared for consistently—at scale. Becca has spent her career advancing the second kind.

A registered nurse certified as a cardiac certified device specialist (CCDS), a distinction earned through more than a decade of cardiovascular and electrophysiology practice, Revell trained under nationally recognized electrophysiologists managing complex cardiac device populations before joining PaceMate in 2018. Once there, she built the patient services department from the ground up—writing policy, recruiting staff, engineering workflows, scaling operations and building a culture of low attrition in a segment notorious for turnover—all while creating a formal career pathway for her team.

Becca’s innovations extend well beyond clinical leadership. She designed a custom productivity database, developed patient call automation, authored patient education content and created business requirements for software enhancements. She built a formal QA program with a structured accountability scorecard. And she published a case study on device clinic patient engagement and was endorsed for the Heart Rhythm Society’s LEAP 2026–27 leadership program.

Rebecca Revell, 39 at nomination time, is that singular cardiovascular professional who can build an entire operational infrastructure while never wavering from her insistence on prioritizing the best interests of the patient.
