Most cardiologists under 40 are still building their clinical reputation. Robert J. Fraser, MD, is building an entire cardiovascular program—and doing so across several program components at once. Robert’s hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) subspecialty, developed through advanced training at the Cleveland Clinic, addresses one of cardiovascular medicine’s most chronically underserved patient populations. The condition is frequently misdiagnosed in general practice, and the patients who find their way to a dedicated program like the one Robert leads are often those for whom an accurate diagnosis is life-changing. He has built the leading destination for that care in the Twin Cities. 

Dr. Fraser holds multiple board certifications across echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and cardiac imaging, and contributes to national HCM education through the American Heart Association’s professional podcast series.
