AI flags high-risk coronary plaques | Siemens Healthineers & Boston Scientific work together | FDA clears new software

Researchers tracked data from nearly 8,000 patients evaluated with Heartflow's FDA-cleared Plaque Analysis software. Overall, the technology's Plaque Staging feature was found to provide significant value during the diagnosis and management of these patients.

The agreement also will make Boston Scientific the exclusive distributor for the new ICE catheter optimized for left atrial appendage occlusion workflows.
