Find out if your cath/EP lab is paying competitive wages
Cath/EP and interventional lab professionals wondering if their pay is competitive are being offered an objective measuring stick from a new research poll, Phoenix-based Springboard Healthcare announced.
Those who take part in the survey through the link at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/CathLabEPWageSurvey will be given a copy of the results and free entry in a drawing for an iPad, the company said
Gavin Hays, Springboard chief executive officer, explained that the 2013-2014 Cath Lab/EP Wage Survey that is currently underway, “Aims to give the cardiac healthcare community the most accurate up to date wage data.”
The firm seeks to increase participation for this year’s industry wage survey by more than 33 percent, Hays said. Analysis of respondents’ data will begin May 15 after it is taken off line.
Springboard, which provides staff and management for health care facilities needing Cath Lab/ EP and IR personnel, began researching the salary question when it found in 2011 there was a lack of wage data that professionals served by the firm could refer to, Hays recounted.
He mentioned that with healthcare reform upon us having solid benchmark wage data before 2014 is a goal SpringBoard is targeting.
