Female cardiologist in Maryland is 75 and still working 12-hour days
Miriam L. Cohen, MD, is 75 and still practicing cardiology in Maryland, the Baltimore Sun reports. Cohen, the state’s first female cardiologist, continues to work 12 hours per day.
The newspaper cited data from the American College of Cardiology that found only 11 percent of the approximately 24,600 cardiologists in the U.S. are women.
