Authorities arrest cardiologist in Georgia for felony animal cruelty

Abhay Trivedi, MD, a cardiologist in Georgia, was arrested and charged with felony animal cruelty after police confiscated 337 birds from his home, WSB-TV reports. The station said that dozens of dead birds were taken from the home of Trivedi, who works at DeKalb Medical Center in Atlanta.
