Pediatric interventional cardiology market anticipates 9 percent growth by 2022

An increase in cases heart disease and other cardiovascular problems is driving growth in the global interventional cardiology market.   

In a report entitled, “Global Pediatric Interventional Cardiology Market Insights, Opportunity Analysis, Market Shares and Forecast, 2016 to 2022,” Research and Markets found that the global pediatric interventional cardiology market will grow by 9 percent by 2022.

Congenital heart defects (CHD) are the most common types of birth defects, affecting about 40,000 newborns each year in the United States. In 2010, more than 2 million infants, children, adolescents and adults were living with CHD.

North America leads the global pediatric interventional cardiology devices market owing to growing occurrence of cardiac disorders in pediatric population and hi-tech advancement in the region. Asia, followed by Europe, is projected to experience high growth rate in the future years in pediatric interventional cardiology devices market. China and India are estimated to be the highest growing pediatric interventional cardiology devices markets in Asian Pacific region.
