Illinois hospital now offers full cardiology services with new hire
Carle Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney, Illinois, now offers comprehensive cardiology services since recently adding a full-time cardiologist, reports the Olney Daily Mail.
Prem Ghai, MD, began practicing this month in the new clinic, which is located on the first floor of the hospital. He is board certified in both cardiology and nuclear cardiology and has more than 25 years of experience working in the two specialties.
“Sometimes in rural areas people don’t always go to the doctor when they need to, because they have to travel out of town for certain specialty care,” Ghai said. “I want to improve on that by providing a full range of services for them closer to home.”
