Canon Medical Systems announces new partnership focused on enterprise imaging and hemodynamics
Canon Medical Systems USA, a subsidiary of Canon Medical Systems Corp., has announced a new strategic partnership expected to increase the company’s presence in the cardiovascular market.
The partnership is with ScImage, a California-based healthcare technology company known for its extensive enterprise imaging background. The two entities plan to work toward expanding Canon’s hemodynamics footprint by putting more time and energy into Fysicon’s QMAPP Hemodynamics solutions; Fysicon is also a subsidiary of Canon Medical Systems Corp.
More details about the QMAPP Hemodynamic Monitoring Device are available here. The solution connects directly to cath lab’s X-ray or operating table and monitors all patient vital functions. Its reports can be stored in electronic medical records or PACS as needed.
“We are proud of this partnership and how, in collaboration with Canon, we are providing a powerful cloud-centric platform for the advancement of enterprise imaging,” Sai Raya, PhD, founder and CEO of ScImage, said in a prepared statement. “With a shared vision and perfectly complementary products, we can drive the future direction of cardiology and beyond.”
“ScImage has been a trusted partner of Canon’s for over five years, and it’s because we hold the same foundational values of keeping our customers first and delivering the best in innovative products and solutions,” added Bill Newsom, managing director of vascular systems for Canon Medical Systems USA. “Having ScImage partner with Canon Medical will only make our offerings that much better.”
