Physio-Control, Jolife ink deal for chest compression system
Jolife has renewed its exclusive distribution agreement for the Lucas chest compression system with Physio-Control, a provider of external defibrillation and monitoring technology.
Lucas is a mechanical CPR device that assists rescuers, such as first responders, paramedics, nurses and physicians in saving sudden cardiac arrest patients, according to the Redmond, Wash.-based company.
Physio-Control said it will continue to market Lucas globally, with the exception of Sweden, Norway and Finland where Jolife has its own direct sales force. Lucas is approved and marketed in markets such as the U.S., Canada, Japan, Australia and Europe.
