Edwards Lifesciences announces new member to its board of directors

Edwards Lifesciences Corp. announced that Steven R. Loranger had been appointed to its board of directors.

Loranger was most recently the CEO and president of Xylem, Inc., a global water technology company. He also was previously the CEO, president and chairman of ITT Corporation and executive vice president and chief operating officer of Textron, Inc.

Loranger currently is on the board of directors of Xylem, Inc., the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum and the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation.
