A diabetes treatment drug, Mounjaro, has been added to the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) list of drug shortages.

The group will examine data from approximately 1,600 patients, focusing on the relationship between the heart and the aorta. 

The American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association, European Society of Cardiology and World Heart Federation all collaborated on a joint statement aimed at updating the rules and regulations associated with randomized clinical trials

One patient received a total of 41 stents from 2004 to 2013. He said the experience was so hard that he feared he would be driven to suicide. 

The company's most well-known product within the industry is the CorPath GRX System, a second-generation robotics solution used by interventional cardiologists during PCI and other interventional procedures.

Gabler, a Texas native, has two decades of experience in the cardiology space, spending the last 11 years with Edwards Lifesciences. He has also previously worked for both Medtronic and Boston Scientific.
