Medtronic (Booth 826) is highlighting its Talent and Endurant endovascular stent graft systems.

The Talent thoracic stent graft system is a medical device that will allow more patients to benefit from a minimally invasive treatment for certain types of aneurysms of the descending thoracic aorta. The Talent system makes thoracic endovascular aortic repair available in the widest range of diameters - from 22 mm to 46 mm. The size matrix offers physicians options to customize devices for their patients' needs and to treat a range of anatomies.

The Talent abdominal stent graft on the CoilTrac delivery system expands patient access to a minimally-invasive treatment option for abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA). The Talent abdominal system makes endovascular repair has proximal aortic neck length requirement of only 10 mm. Consisting of a woven polyester membrane supported by a tubular metal lattice, the device is indicated for endovascular treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms with or without iliac involvement.

The Endurant abdominal stent graft system, which is only an investigational device in the U.S., seeks to address those AAA patients, whose aortas are angulated or whose aneurysms have short necks.
