Report says Theranos CEO’s role will likely remain the same
After the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services sanctioned Theranos and forbid founder and CEO Elizabeth Holmes from owning or operating a laboratory for two years, Forbes wonders how the penalties will affect the company. Despite the issues, sources told Forbes that Holmes’s role would not change.
The report also mentions that the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Department of Justice are examining Theranos’s operations and that the company has not made its data available to doctors and scientists to evalutate.
