Pie Medical Imaging reveals cardiovascular angiography platform

Pie Medical Imaging, a cardiology and radiology software provider, revealed a new functionality for its cardiovascular angiography analysis system platform at the Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics meeting this week in Washington, D.C.

As part of the new platform, Pie Medical said its quantitative coronary analysis software detects single artery and bifurcated artery lesions using bifurcation analysis. The new functionality includes an obstruction analysis and the bifurcation stent segmental analysis (10 segments), according to the Maastricht, Netherlands-based company.
