Nuclear imaging company Positron moves to New York for ‘exciting new chapter’

Positron, a medtech company focused on co-developing, manufacturing and selling nuclear imaging systems, has established a new corporate headquarters in the Buffalo-Niagara Falls region of New York. In addition, the company plans to redomicile from Texas to Delaware

Positron has specialized in cardiac PET imaging systems for nearly 40 years, and its current offerings include the Attrius PET and NeuSight PET-CT systems. This new-look corporate headquarters will be home to its corporate operations. The facility will also serve as a product showroom and a testing center for its PET imaging systems, which are designed to be both innovative and cost-effective.

“These steps forward mark an exciting new chapter in Positron’s evolution,” Positron President Adel Abdullah said in a prepared statement. “Our strengthened corporate structure and expanded facility supports our growth and reinforces our ability to advance our strategic goals and deliver greater long-term value to our customers and shareholders.”

More big changes on the way?

According to Positron’s announcement, it took these steps to enhance its “corporate governance” and “legal framework” as it prepares to file an official Form 10 registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that will help it become a “fully reporting public company.”
