American College of Cardiology launches new series of COVID-19-related virtual meetings

The American College of Cardiology (ACC) has launched a new series of weekly virtual meetings focused on helping healthcare providers overcome challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Summer COVID-19 Education Series began Saturday, June 6, and will continue for at least four additional weeks.

On Thursday, June 11, two sessions—“COVID-19, Clots and Anticoagulants: A Case-based Discussion on VTE Prevention and Treatment” and “Health Care Disparities and COVID-19: The Story Behind the Headlines”—are scheduled to occur. On Thursday, June 18, the scheduled sessions are “Management of Chronic Disease via Virtual Care” and “Postponement of Prioritization: Part 1 TAVR/Mitral Clip, ACS/STEMI, AFib.”
