Cardiovascular Associates, St. Luke’s form partnership
Cardiovascular Associates and St. Luke’s Health System, both in of Sioux City, Iowa, have partnered to expand cardiovascular care in the region.
Previously St. Luke’s and Cardiovascular Associates combined efforts to open a coronary care unit. The formalized partnership, which went into effect Jan. 1, will allow them to enhance hospital services, operate cardiology clinics, better coordinate patient care and manage outreach services. They said additional hospital enhancements may come as early as this spring.
Cardiovascular Associates includes a staff of with 11 physicians who specialize in noninvasive cardiology, interventional cardiology and electrophysiology and is accredited in echocardiography, nuclear medicine and vascular diagnostic imaging. St. Luke’s is a member hospital of the Iowa Health System.
