Charity gala in West Virginia raises more than $30,000 for cardiac care
A charity gala on April 8 raised more than $30,000 for local cardiac care services in West Virginia, The Parkersburg News and Sentinel reports.
The West Virginia University Medicine Camden Clark Foundation organized the gala, which featured more than 200 attendees at the Parkersburg Country Club.
The newspaper reported that West Virginia University Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center plans on beginning construction in June on a three-story, 40,000-square foot heart and vascular institute.
