Edwards Lifesciences appoints Martha H. Marsh to board of directors

Edwards Lifesciences appointed longtime healthcare executive Martha H. Marsh to its board of directors on Oct. 23, according to a company news release.

Marsh currently serves on the board of directors of AMN Healthcare Services, Inc. and Owens & Minor, Inc. She also served on Thoratec Corp.’s board of directors until St. Jude Medical acquired Thoratec on Oct. 8.

Marsh retired in 2010 after spending eight years as the president and CEO of Stanford Hospital & Clinics. She also had hospital leadership positions at the University of California Davis Medical Center, University of Pennsylvania Health System and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
