New Jersey cardiologist joins cardiovascular practice in the Empire State

Cardiologist Rajeev Narayan, MD, is rejoining the team at The Heart Center, a division of Hudson Valley Cardiovascular Practice, an affiliate of Health Quest, a New York-based healthcare network.

He will be working out of the Poughkeepsie office and the Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Prior to this, he worked as the director of medicine at St. John’s Riverside Hospital in Yonkers, New York, and as a cardiologist at the VA Hospital in Montrose, New York.

“I am excited to return to the Hudson Valley, an area where my father, a prominent cardiologist himself, also served this great community for many years,” Narayan said. “Following in his footsteps and combining my advanced training, I look forward to bringing new technologies to the region for patients with complex heart disease.”

He holds a bachelor’s degree from Drew University in Madison, New Jersey, and a medical degree from Rutgers Medical School.
