SCAI wanted to make the book available for free to help speed training among interventional cardiologists and heart team members as TEER continues to grow at a very rapid pace. TEER was originally designed for the MitraClip to repair the mitral valve, but is expanding now with the TriClip device for the tricuspid valve. In addition, a second vendor device is now entering the field for both anatomies, the Pascal clip device.
She spoke to Cardiovascular Business at the 2022 Transcatheter Valve Therapies (TVT) Structural Heart Summit.
