Forbes estimates Theranos founder’s net worth is down to zero

One year after estimating Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes’s net worth at $4.5 billion, Forbes has lowered its estimate to zero. Forbes said it spoke with a dozen venture capitalists, analysts and industry experts to gauge the value of Theranos, which has had the validity of its blood testing questioned in recent months.

Forbes reported that Holmes is scheduled to present Theranos’ data at the AACC meeting in August.
