Kansas hospital welcomes cardiology team

A new cardiology team has joined Newman Regional Health, a hospital in Emporia, Kansas, a move that will elevate and improve the hospital’s cardiology offerings, reports The Emporia Gazette.

Cardiologists Pat Crawley, MD, and Mike Lloyd, MD, along with Physician Assistant Krista Ohmie and Nurse Practitioner Mary Warden joined Newman April 10. All four come from the Cardiovascular Consultants of Kansas, where they have worked together for years.

“They made me an offer and I said, ‘my mid-level (Warden) comes with me,’” Crawley said. “We all work well together.”
