Physio-Control

Physio-Control (Booth 3851) is highlighting its Lifepak 20e defibrillator/monitor, Lifenet STEMI management solution and LUCAS chest compression system.

The Lifepak 20e is compact to rush to the scene or use during transport. The 20e combines AED function with manual capability so that ACLS-trained clinicians can deliver advanced diagnostic and therapeutic care. The 20e uses lithium-ion battery technology that provides extended monitoring time for transporting patients from one area of the hospital to another and includes ADAPTIV biphasic technology up to 360J.

The Lifenet STEMI allows EMS users to transmit patient 12-lead ECG data and hospital customers to receive the data in various locations and formats. Data is transmitted from the Lifepak 12 defibrillator/monitor to the hospital via the internet, allowing customers to set up their own STEMI alert systems so personnel in the emergency department, cardiac cath lab, and other areas can be activated before the patient arrives. LUCAS provides external chest compressions during cardiopulmonary resuscitation, designed for both out-of-hospital and in-hospital use. LUCAS is indicated for treatment of adult patients who have acute circulatory arrest.
