American College of Cardiology announces late-breaking clinical trials for ACC.26

The latest and greatest in cardiovascular science will be presented during a series of late-breaking, featured clinical research and investigative horizons sessions during ACC.26, the annual meeting of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) in New Orleans. The three-day event is scheduled to take place March 28-30.

"This is a massive meeting with more than 300 educational sessions and more than 1,300 speakers," meeting chair Katie L. Berlacher, MD, explained during a March 9 press conference.

This year's meeting has a record number of 60 late-breaking sessions, and overall had about 10,000 abstract submissions. 

Berlacher and other physicians pointed to several highly anticipated presentations that will take place during during the press conference. These included:
